CVN-65 USS Enterprise was the world's first nuclear-powered aircraft carrier and the eighth United States naval vessel to bear the name. Like her predecessor of World War II fame, she was nicknamed "Big E".

This artwork is relatively new in the art world, a new kind of art. As opposed to conventional painting or photography, digital art allows a person to render any image on to any scenery, thereby creating a whole new class of artists. What it also allows those of us who are historians, is to create photos of military history like they were just taken, instead of some historical grainy black and white photo. While these artistic creations may not be considered 'real' art or genuine photography, it is undeniable that this kind of art is here to stay. I am one of those Digital Artists. I do military art.
